The Middleton Gators Swim & Dive  Team provides an exciting, challenging, educational and FUN environment for swimmers and divers throughout the summer. We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for children of all skill levels. Our goal is to teach the value of team cooperation, safety, hard work, and the pursuit of personal excellence. Through the Middleton Gators experience, we hope to give your children memories and tools to help build a healthy and happy future.

The Middleton Gators Swim & Dive Team is one of the 13 teams participating in the Madison Area All-City Swim & Dive League.  During the summer season we will compete in 7 dual/triple meets with the other 12 pools.  At the end of the season Gators members will also have the opportunity to compete in the All-City Championships; an event that brings all 13 teams together.

As a recreational swim team, there is no attendance requirement as we understand summers are busy with vacations, camps, summer school and more. Your swimmer/diver is welcome to attend as many practices and meets work with your family's schedule.

We are an all volunteer-run organization, and require parent volunteers to run our home meets (3 or 4 meets per summer).  All Middleton Gators Swim & Dive Team families are required to volunteer in team meets and activities.

Ability Requirements:
You must have passed Level IV of Red Cross Swimming Lessons (or equivalent) and must also demonstrate the ability to complete the majority of a practice in order to participate on the team.  We will accept swimmers that have not passed Level IV if they can demonstrate the ability to perform basic strokes and can complete an entire practice with an attitude of wanting to swim.  The first week of practice will be used as a “evaluation” session for these swimmers.  Final decision will be made by the age-group coaches. The Gators Team is open to anyone 5 to 18 years of age and has no residence location requirement.
