Meet Reminder and Practice next week

Hey Sharks!

Just a reminder about tomorrow's meet with Caste Pines. There were links in the newsletter I sent out but just in case, here is the important information again: 

When: Saturday June 11th, meet starts at 7:30am.

Warm-ups: 

Warm-Up for Castle Pines:  6:40am-7:00am

Warm-Up for Holly Park:  7:00am-7:20am

Where: Our pool is located at 7306 Oxford Drive, Castle Pines 80108. We have a 25 meter, 6 lane pool.

Parking: We’ll block off a few spaces for 1 coach/1 parent rep per team in the small parking lot (you will need to get out and move the cones).  There is plenty of street parking but please be respectful of neighborhood driveways etc.

Team Areas: Due to the limited space inside the pool area, we are requesting teams to set up on the grassy area outside the pool gates. The area is just to the left and before the main entrance of the pool all the way around to the tennis courts, as well as to the right by the concessions and playground area.  Please stay off the tennis courts.  

Coach Ryan will be sending out the Programs today.

Alright guys so next week’s opening date has been delayed slightly. We are hopeful to be opening on Tuesday, 6/14. The paint is being applied but with the cure times as well as filling/heating & treating; it will take longer than initially expected. As a result, the sharks will be at Goodson on Monday 6p-8p and Tuesday from 4p-6:30p (or 6p if that works).

 

The reason I am putting the team at Goodson on Tuesday is to be on the safe side of things. There is still a chance that the pool will not be good to go Tuesday . That is why the team will be here Tuesday as well.

 

I will be at the pool all weekend/Monday getting it ready-believe me when I say we are doing everything to open as soon as possible.

 

I will keep you posted as updates become available. Again please know how much we appreciate your patience/cooperation.
