Final Shark Email

Hello Shark Families!

I hope this email finds you all well as this summer comes to a close as the kids return to school. It's hard to believe how quickly the rest of the summer went after swim season ended. We hope you all loved the season and that we will see you all back in May! I have a few updates to share with you.

 

I will remain as the parent delegate "advisor" to answer questions and t ransition a new parent delegate to assist our new head delegate, Shannon Parish. I will also coordinate the apparel and manage that piece of things but it's important to train others in these roles as many of us have older swimmers and will not be on the team for more than a few more years. We are also looking to divide many of these bigger roles into smaller parts, i.e. planning/coordinating events like the swim-a-thon and banquet, swimmer treats and a few others.  Please email me to let me know what you are interested in. We also have other opportunities listed below:

 

• Deputy Clerke of Course (to assist our head Clerke of Course in heating)
• Concessions Assistant (to assist our head Concessions Coordinator)
• Parent Delegate (to learn about the role and transition into a head delegate the following year)
• Event Coordinator (mentioned above)
• Swimmer Treats (mentioned above)
• Registration Assistant (to learn more about the website and managing registrations)

 

More information on these roles can be found on the  Mountain High Swim League Website. We will be down to 0 points and need to fill these types of positions in order to remain in good standing with the league. I will submit your name and you will need to attend a league meeting on September 13th.
