Hills West Meet Wrap Up

Oh my goodness!  Did y'all see the bubbles??  There were so many fast sharks, big and small, leaving trails of bubbles with Hills West in their wake. 

Our first meet was a success!  Holly Park Sharks beat Hills West Waves 562 to 244.  We had 79 swimmers compete.  This is 76% of our team!  Thats great!  I hope to see the other 24% give it a try at the next meet.  We had 42 All Star qualifying times.  Again, that is a huge accomplishment!

A huge shout out to: 

* The swimmers with their effort, heart, and good sportmanship!

* The Holly Park Board.  We have a lot of new people learning new roles this year.  There were some big bumps at this meet and our team worked together kindly, effectively, and calmly.  I'm so glad to be part of this crew!

* The many hands on volunteers who made the meet happen!  It takes about 30 volunteers from our team (and another 30 from the other team) to make a meet successful.  Thank you to those who signed up, stepped up, and supported all our swimmers!

Congratulations to all on a successful first summer swim meet!

BTW, did you know we have an Instagram and Facebook page?  Our wonderful Coach Miranda has been doing a great job with the Insta.  Yours truly, Katie, has been doing a meh job with Facebook, ha! But if all y'all share your pictures and shark love, they will be great!
