A Few Important Pieces of Shark Chum....

Katie Ritsick

Hola Tiburones!

Our third meet of the season is coming up at Dam West this Saturday!  I have included links to their welcome letter and pertinent maps.  PLEASE NOTE:  They start their meets at 7:30 (Warms ups 6:50) and as they have a 5 lane pool, it will likely go longer than our first two meets.  Our coaches have picked a fun theme of Cowboy/Country this meet!  So break out your Rootin' Tootin' country gear!

Be sure to fuel up your sharks at the Parry's Pizza Dine-Out in Greenwood Village this Friday, 6/14!  Valid for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Just mention the Holly Park Sharks when you order or notate when you place an order online, and the team will get a 20% kickback!

Finally, the annual  Swim-A-Thon, our team's main fundraising event,   is coming up soon:   Wednesday, June 19 from 5-7PM in lieu of evening practice. Join your fellow Sharks for a fun evening of swimming laps to support our team!  We will also be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Centennial Salvation Army's food bank.

    * Collect donations: you can use the  attached form to track.
    * We will have free pizza available for the swimmers and the volunteers! Family members can also purchase slices.
    * Families can bring dry goods to donate as well.

Prizes will be awarded for the most laps (by age group) and for the most money raised.

And a second "finally"...  Did anyone notice a fourth coach on our deck this past week?  Big toothy welcome to Kaden Kurlander!!  He swims with the team and has joined our coaching staff.  It is the absolute best to watch our sharks grow up and pass their love of the team on to the little shark pups.  <3

It's a great season to be a Holly Park Shark!
