Hey Shark Families!

LAST DUAL MEET: 6/29
Time flies when you’re swimming fast! Our final dual meet of the season is this Saturday at Holly Pool. We will be hosting the Foxridge Foxes.  Remember to declare your swimmers by Tuesday at midnight.  Also check the job signup for volunteer shift openings, especially if you have not yet completed your 4-shift volunteer requirement.

PRELIMS: 7/8 and 7/9
All six teams in our division meet up at Prelims. Prelims are a chance for your swimmers to qualify for the Championship meet on July 13 at Hills West!  What does it mean to qualify?  Swimmers who place in the top 16 (plus two alternates) for an event will have the chance to swim that event at Champs! Just like in dual meets, swimmers can declare for up to 3 individual events.

Because all six teams in the division participate in Prelims, we spit it up into two days based on age group: 

  • July 8 at Dam West for 8&unders, 13&up
  • July 9 at Castle Pines for 9/10 and 11/12

There are no relays at Prelims, so the meets tend to run a bit faster. Plan on starting at normal swim meet time and ending around 10:30.

Reminder: there is an additional volunteer requirement if you have a swimmer competing at Prelims. We will be opening up the events for swimmer declaration and job signup on the website soon.

END OF SEASON BANQUET: 7/14

Last but not least, our end of season party for all the Sharks and their families will be held on July 14, 6-8PM at Holly Pool. Swimming, cake, and awards are on the agenda!
