Meet Information

Meet Sheet

This weekend our team is heading to historic Vallejo for our third meet of the 2025-26 USA Swimming competition year. This meet will be at the John F. Cunningham Aquatic Complex, an Olympic-sized pool that has been hosting Pacific Swimming meets for several decades.

For more information about the meet please review the meet sheet here.

Please note that USA Swimming meets require preregistration, swimmers cannot be added on the day of the meet.

Pre-Meet Checklist:

  1. Swimmers must sign in at the check-in desk as soon as they arrive at the meet venue (guardians cannot check-in swimmers). USA Swimming competitions require swimmers to check-in at least 1 hour prior to the swimmer’s first race.  Check-in for each event closes approximately one hour prior to the start of that event. Swimmers who have not checked in prior to the event closing will not be seeded (assigned a heat and lane) in that event. Swimmers may scratch events at the check-in desk if the event has not already closed.
  2. Meet at the team tents prior to team warmup (7:55 a.m.)
  3. Attend mandatory team meeting at 8:50 AM on Saturday and Sunday in the team tents.

During the Meet:

  1. Frequently check for heat and lane assignments (posted at the meet and on the Meet Mobile App - requires purchase).  Swimmers are assigned heat and lane assignments approximately 30 minutes before the start of each event. Swimmers who miss an event that they have checked-in for may be penalized by being automatically scratched from their next event.
  2. Swimmers must tell the coach the heat and lane assignment as soon as it is posted.
  3. Cool-down after every race. This meet will have warm-up and cool-down lanes available during the meet. Cooling down after a race will help your swimmer perform well as the day progresses, especially in the later races. Depending on the age of the swimmer cool-down will typically be 150 – 300 yards of slow tempo swimming.
  4. Check-in with a coach after every race after race cool-down so we can provide feedback.
  5. After cooling down, check for the next heat and lane assignment and repeat process.

Other Notes:

  • Swimmers must check-in with their coach prior to scratching any race.
  • Bring sunblock, extra towels, and spare clothing.
  • No video is permitted on the block side of the pool. This rule is strictly enforced!
