Seals Aquatics & USA Swimming
The Strawberry Seals Swim Team offers a year-round competitive swimming program that provides swimmers of all levels with the best of both worlds: participation in the Marin Swim League Spring competitions, and participation in USA Pacific Swim meets in the Fall, Winter, and Summer months.
USA swimming is the largest competitive swimming organization in the world with over 300,000 members within the United States. Our team competes in USA swimming as Seals Aquatics (SRBY), a member organization within Zone 3 of Pacific Swimming, our regional Local Swim Committee (LSC).
We offer a robust schedule of meets to appeal to Seals swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Seals Aquatics Mission
Seals Aquatics nurtures the personal growth and competitive spirit of aspiring swimmers through 1:1 technical training, group practices and Fall/Winter USA swimming competition. We take a holistic approach to developing advanced competitive skills and speed emphasizing physical and emotional fitness as the underpinnings of our program. With the support of our community, Seals Aquatics’ swimmers are prepared to reach their personal best and thrive as competitive athletes.

All swimmers enrolled in the Seals Fall and Winter programs are eligible to participate in USA meets as part of Seals Aquatics upon registration with the USA Swimming organization.
How to Register or Renew Membership as a Seals Aquatics with USA Swimming
USA Swimming Membership: To participate in the Pacific Swimming competitions with Seals Aquatics, swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming as Seals Aquatics members.

Where to Enter USA Swimming/Pacific Swimming Meets Online
To enter Pacific Swimming meets, swimmers create an account on the Fastswims meet entry system at www.fastswims.com. This is seperate from registering with USA Swimming and is a free to setup.
Swimmers are welcome to attend a single day of a mult-day meet. Attendance at all days is not expected or required.
When entering a meet there is a "splash fee" as well as per event fees to enter. "Outreach swimmers" can access reduced meet entry fees.
MOST MEETS ENTRIES CLOSE SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE THE OFFICIAL ENTRY DEADLINE. Please sign up for meets as soon as you know your swimmer is available to participate.
Service Requirements
Our Fall and Winter programs do not have service requirements unless your swimmer attends meets. If your swimmer attends a meet, you will be expected to fill at least one timing shift per meet day.
Also, we are actively seeking five volunteers to be our Fall and Winter stroke and turn judges, which require training and certification from USA Swimming. If we achieve this goal, no judge will be required to work more than one day every two meets. If our team is unable to provide the required number stroke and turn judges, we will be required to pay a fine to Zone 3 for each position not filled.
