Tim Baker Head Coach

Tim is returning as head coach for the 2025 Orca season. He brings with him decades of swimming and coaching experience—from the beginning of his career as an Orca at age nine, to his competitive experience as a NCAA Division 1 swimmer, to his current 17th season coaching Orcas. Tim has taken the Orcas from last in the league to second in the MSL and has coached champions at the State and NCS levels. Tim's focus is leveraging the strengths of each swimmer to help them achieve their personal bests. Tim, along with the dedicated assistant coaching staff, looks forward to welcoming new and returning Orcas and families.

Kelsey Louderback Assistant Coach

Kelsey has over 15+ years experience as a swimming coach. She has extensive experience coaching and swimming in the Marin Swim League. She has also coached US year-around swim teams and Masters swimming. She continues to hone her own swimming skills which helps with her instruction. She brings to coaching a passion for technical instruction and a desire to help kids become more confident swimmers and people. She values the community building that being a part of the Orcas brings to families. Fun fact: Kelsey joined the Orcas in her last year swimming in the MSL and was on a relay team with coach Tim back when relay teams were Co-Ed!

Kathryn Arinduque Assitant Coach

Kathryn swam with the Orcas for many years during her childhood, and has loved the water ever since. She has experience teaching swim lessons to kids of all ages and skill levels at the Adrian-Copeland swim club, and was also a lifeguard there. Kathryn also spent time as a junior coach for the Strawberry Seals, where she found a joy for swim coaching. And while in college she taught private lessons with the Sunsational Swim school to kids across San Diego.

After completing her B.S. in biochemistry from UCSD, Kathryn is pursuing a career in dentistry. She currently works as a dental assistant at a pediatric dental office in Mill Valley. In her free time, Kathryn can be found swimming, hiking, discovering new bakeries and restaurants, or at a music event.
