Practice Schedules

Extended Season 2025 Practice

When: August 26 - October 30: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

All practices will begin at 6:00 P.M. End times may vary each week depending on practice structure, swimmer age, skill level, and focus areas. Coaches will outline the weekly structure during the first practice of each week.

Where: All practices will be held at the Tracy High Scohol Pool.

 

Tentative 2026 Spring Practice

Please note, practice times are later than they have in in recent years.  

Our ability to begin Spring practices is directly affected by the high school academic and swim schedule, which was adjusted pursuant to California law this school year.  The law requires California high schools to begin daily instruction no sooner than 8:30 A.M. daily.  

As a result of this change, we were forced to push back our daily practice time.   

Spring Practice for new and returning swimmers will begin on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.  We ask that all swimmers attend the assigned practice pursuant to their age.  As the season progresses the coaching staff may ask that a swimmer attend an alternative practice.  This request, if made, is a coaching decision to ensure the swimmer maximizes their time in the water based on their skill set.

Practices are typicall held Monday – Thursday.  No Friday practices.  

 

Saturday Clinics 

In addition to the regular scheduled practices, we will also host Saturday clinics during the month of April.  The clinics are designed to allow additional time for the coaching staff to focus on aspects of swimming such as diving and turns, however, the specific focus of the clinic will be announced prior to the scheduled clinic.  

 

Tentantive 2026 Summer Practice Schedule - Tentative

June 1 – July 18

Swimmers may attend one practice per day.  Summer practices are open, allowing the swimmer(s) to choose the practice time which best fits their schedule; however, the coaching staff does ask, that once a practice time is selected, the swimmer(s) consistently attend the chosen practice.

6:00-7:00 P.M. Monday - Thursday
