Classic and City Meets

The swim conference hosts 2 championship meets at the end of the season. Choose 1 of the 2 for your swimmers to compete in depending on their qualifying times for City.

The Classic Meet is for any child, age 12 or younger who would like to swim in an end of season championship meet against many teams. Coaches will have the swimmers taper and prep them for the end of season race. It's a great way to experience what a winter swim meet is like. Please note that if swimmers make a city time in an event, they are not eligible to swim that event at the Classic Meet.

The City Championship Meet is for swimmers 7 and older with a qualifying time (times listed on our site).  A swimmer making a "City Time" has earned the opportunity to swim against the very best swimmers in the conference.

Swimmers at both meets are awarded fancy ribbons when they place in the top sixteen in each event.

Parents are required to work a job in whichever championship meet your child is swimming. Jobs will be posted as soon as we receive our assignments.

If your child is swimming at Classic, their last practice will be on July 19. If your child has qualified and is swimming at City, their last practice will be on July 26th (or earlier per coach's instruction).
