Coaches
Parking: There will be reserved parking for two coaches, two team reps, and one data rep, clearly marked. We have also asked our team to park in the street in order to leave as much parking space as possible for your team.
Pool Layout: The 25m start end is the deep end by the slide, 50m starts are at the opposite shallow end. The shallow end starts at 2.5 ft. We will do our best to ensure the pool is as full as possible prior to the start of the meet.
Layout of the Grounds: Below is a layout of the grounds so you can see the flow of traffic for the meet.
**Please let your families know: Playground, Field & Volleyball Court/Sand Pit are off-limits during the meet.
Team Area: The team areas are on the left side of the pool. The visiting team will occupy the space on the picnic table deck area. We will also provide a viewing area for coaches and visiting team cheering, as marked on the diagram. There will be room for two 12x12 tents at the cheering area. There are umbrellas and tables on the deck and you are also welcome to bring tent(s) for additional shade.
Spectators: All spectators (home and visiting teams) will sit on the right hand side of the pool, as marked on the diagram.
Concessions: Café Piranha will be open during the meet! We will be serving breakfast burritos & sandwiches, fruit, donuts, bagels, etc. Cash and square payments accepted.
Data & Starter System: All table workers and data will be under the small covered pavilion between the baby pool and the large field. Timers remain in place while ref and starter will switch to the other end for those races. We have two starter systems, please bring one as a back-up just in case.
Miscellaneous: Please let us know if you have any special needs swimmers or families and we will do our best to accommodate. Time permitting, let us know the pronunciations for any tricky names for the announcer and if you would like an announcement regarding a lunch stop for your team after the meet.
Team Lunch Recommendations: The Fox Mill Shopping Center is .07 miles (2 minutes) from the pool. There is Glory Days, Lucia's (Italian), and Bobby's Bagel Shop. We strongly encourage calling ahead to Glory Days as both Pinecrest and Fox Mill Estates Swim Teams often use this as their after meet option.
If your team is heading out via FFX County Parkway to Rte 66, you'll pass Big Buns in Franklin Farm or if staying on FFX County Parkway, there are plenty of options at Fair Lakes; Red Robin, Guapo's, Noodles & Co., Silver Diner, and more.
If your team is heading out via Dulles Toll Rd, a team favorite is Cafe Sano (lite Mediterranean fare), or you can go slightly beyond and there is a wealth of restaurants in and around Reston Town Center.
