Happenings this Week

Monday Funday during morning practices. T-shirt decorating on Tuesday (more details below). Dollar breakfast on Wednesday. Lawncare Thursday morning - avoid lawn and terrace tables. Last Home meet on Sunday June 29th v. Old Georgetown (Team Photo, Senior Celebration, Glenwood Gear Tent returns!)

 

Meet Recap
We stole victory from the clutches of our merry friends over at Robin Hood Swim Club with a final score of 52-37. (Wait, does that make us Sheriff Nottingham??). Wonderful to see so many divers challenging themselves to land new dives, and send their existing dives even higher and cleaner! Keep it up, Tigers. T-Shirt Decorating
Both swim and dive teams will be decorating t-shirts on the back deck before/after morning and afternoon practice 8:30 am - 11 am OR 4:30 pm - 6 pm. Kids bring their own 100% cotton, kelly green t-shirts and decorate using a bleach-based gel. (Polyester blends and less bright green colors don’t work well.) LABEL the T with your kid’s name on the inside with a sharpie BEFORE the event. Volunteers will be on hand with all other supplies including tiger templates. When tiger cubs finish their designs, the shirts then "set" in the sun for ~20 minutes, are rinsed by the team of volunteers, and sent home for a full wash before wearing.

NOTE for 8 & unders – parents please join your kiddo on the back deck for this activity, to ensure bleach doesn’t go anywhere it shouldn’t! Also the station will be packing up before practice is over, so please come before practice if you want to decorate in the morning.

 

Practice Schedule This Week 

Miraculously, it’s the same times every day this week! 
Morning sessions:

9:00-10:00 am for 13-18s,

10:00-10:45 am for 11-12s,

10:45am-11:20 am for 9-10s

11:20 am-12:00 pm for 8 & Unders

​OR afternoon session 4:30-5:30 pm / 5:30-6:30 pm, any age.
