Glenwood Dive Parents:
Wow, that was quite the marathon meet last night! We can’t thank everyone enough for their patience and their endurance through the heat. A HUGE shout out to our volunteers who set up and judged and recorded and tabulated and refereed and announced and grilled and served food and sold swag and cleaned up. Whew! Great diving all around, and the photo will look fantastic with everyone's body paint and tattoos! Note: Because we ended up needing to end the meet early due to inclement weather, we need the MCDLeague Board to review our determination before meet results can be made official. We'll keep you posted once the results are final!

Dollar breakfast on Wednesday Morning. B meet, no practice Wednesday Afternoon. Lawncare Thursday Morning - avoid lawn and terrace tables. Friday All Day, GW July 4 celebration blow out - no practice. Sunday away meet v. Tanterra.
Practice Schedule This Week
No practice on Wednesday afternoon and no practice on the celebration of our nation’s birth (Friday).
Morning sessions:
9:00-10:00 am for 13-18s
10:00-10:45 am for 11-12s
10:45am-11:20 am for 9-10s
11:20 am-12:00 pm for 8 & Unders
OR afternoon session 4:30-5:30 pm / 5:30-6:30 pm, any age.
Looking Ahead to Next Week:
Family Potluck and Parent Dive Meet, Thursday, July 10th. Join us at 6pm for our annual Parent Dive "competition" and potluck dinner. Have no fear, it is all in good fun with no experience needed! Parents can warm up on the boards with coaches to guide you before the event starts. Scoring by our esteemed dive team and prizes for all who participate. Can't wait to see you there!
Family Dance and Teen Splash and Roar, Saturday July 12th. We’ll start handing out ice cream treats around 6 p.m. and follow with a DJ and dancing from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. When the dance ends and the pool closes, we're ramping up the fun this season with a new late-night pool party for swimmers and divers ages 13 to 18. Teens enjoy water games, pool toys, poker lessons, snacks, and swimming under the stars from 9:45 p.m. to 1 a.m. We’re calling this exclusive event “Teen Splash & Roar.” (Yep, this party replaces the old teen overnight because sleeping on a pool lounge chair all night was never as awesome as we made it sound.
