The Blasters (competitive) program is open to children ages 4 - 18. Children who will be participating in meets must be able to swim one stroke across the pool (25 meters) unassisted. Swimmers are broken down by age group and gender: 

• 8 & under
• 9 - 10
• 11 - 12
• 13 - 14
• 15 - 18

The MicroBlasters (developmental) program is for children ages 4 - 7. They must be comfortable in the water and able to swim several yards unassisted. 

Please note that there will be no exceptions to the swimming requirements.  Coaches reserve the right to move swimmers to a different program if swimmers do not meet the necessary requirements.  Coaches will be evaluating the swimmers in the first few practices and moving swimmers throughout the season into the best lane position for the swimmer.
