Hello!
Welcome to the start of the 2024 BWAVES Summer Swim Season! The pool is currently under construction with new renovations. (resurfacing with new paint and tiles) I would also like to add that the Board bought new lane lines this year and with the resurfacing of the pool the new lane lines will look awesome! The Bridlewood HOA has also announced that the bathhouse maintenance is scheduled to be done also just don’t know a date on that yet.
Would also like to announce that our Head Coach will be Zach Rowe this year! Coach Zach is also helping with our Off-Season program and has been doing a great job. Coach Zach and Coach Blake did a great job with the swimmers last year and brought home the Victory Win in the Red Division!! The BWAVES are currently still in the red division again this year and will face off with Braemar and Kingsbrooke for the title! Coach Zach is eager and determined to get this season started. We are looking forward to an exciting year of having fun, but also being competitive and improving the swimmers by learning and becoming faster while having good sportsmanship! Our team is known for having fun (DJ DROP THAT BEAT!) so please reach out to your friends, family, and colleagues to come join us for the 2024 Summer Swim Season!
Registration is currently open!
· Step 1: Click the button that says "Register now" at the top of the page at http://www.bwaves.org
· Step 2: Add the registration to your cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button next to either Bridlewaves or Guppies (or both, depending on your situation). (Only if you don’t already have a Sports Engine account) Register with SportsEngine. Check your email! You will receive a confirmation email. Go through the confirmation steps so you will be able to login and continue to the next steps.
· Step 3: Click the "Checkout Now" button that appears at the top of the screen. You must be quick because it disappears. If you do miss it, click "My Shopping Cart" at the top right of screen, THEN click "Checkout Now".
· Step 4: On the Checkout page, click on the pull-down menu under "Assign Member". You should see all your swimmers listed. Click the pencil next to the name of the swimmer you are registering to verify their information is correct. Anything with a red asterisk (*) is required. Please pay attention to the Shirt Size field since that is the size team shirt your swimmer will get. NOTE: If you don't see your swimmer listed or if you're new to the team, choose "Add new member" and complete the member information.
· Step 5: On the Checkout page, click "Add Registrations" if you need to add multiple swimmers and repeat step 5 until you've added them all. NOTE: If you are mixing and matching Guppies and Bridlewaves, please double-check that each swimmer is in the right group.
· Step 6: Once all your swimmers are added, click "Next" and proceed to the next page.
· Step 7: Read each of the waivers and agreements (click "View agreement" for each one) and check the boxes next to "I have read and agree."
· Step 8: Click "next" to accept the agreements.
· Step 9: Review the summary and click "next" to proceed.
· Step 10: Select "Credit Card" or "Check" as payment option, enter billing information and click "Pay Now" to complete registration.
Just a few key points I would like to address:
1. We need all hands-on deck for volunteering this season! The board has come up with a Sign-up Genius to see who is interested in certain jobs relating to this summer. We need Concessions, Clerk of Course, Banquet helpers, Officials etc. So please get in touch with us via the Sign-up Genius and at [email protected] so we can make it happen! The swim team can not fully operate without the hard work and dedication that is given not only by the board but also “YOU” the parents and family members that help run a successful and fun meet!

2. Don’t forget after completing registration feel free to get your Bridlewaves gear at our Swim and Tri Team Store!! There are lots to choose from and will also have custom caps available online to order. Order early to have before the season starts! We are using the same Team Suits as last season so if they fit no worries on purchasing another one. If you need to get a new one, they will be available on the Swim and Tri Team Store!

4. Would also like to add please make sure you check your junk/spam emails as there will be multiple people sending emails from different accounts throughout the season and some end up in junk/spam emails boxes.
