Lancer News - Week 4 - MUST READ!

We are halfway through the summer season Lancer families!

Congrats on a great meet at Brookside this past Saturday!!!! A special shoutout to our 2 Jr Lancers that got bumped up to the team last week and competed like stars at the meet this weekend!  Not only did all of our swimmers do amazing but our parents really stepped up and flooded the job signup!  

Here is what is happening this week:

Tuesday - 11am parent meeting for Jr & Lil Lancer parents under pavilion next to clubhouse

                - all competitive swimmers must be committed or declined for this Saturday's swim meet, sign up to volunteer

Friday - Team pictures, Jr & Lil Lancer Mini Meet and Friday FUNday

            - 8:15pm set up for home meet against Meadowbrook

Saturday - 2nd Home Meet against the Meadowbrook Makos (detailed email will be sent out later this week)

                - Lancer Buddy theme: Breakfast in a bag

Team pictures: Report to the pool at 8:30AM on Friday.  This is for all swimmers - competitive team, Jr Lancers and Lil Lancers.  All swimmers must wear their grey Lancer t-shirt.  If you did not get it this past Friday, they will be handed out on deck during practices this week. Look for Christine Dirksen who will have them sorted and ready for pickup.

Mini Meet: This Friday will be our first Jr & Lil Lancer Mini Meet!  On Tuesday, we will have a parent meeting under the pavilion at 11am so we can discuss how it will run and parents can sign up for the various jobs that will need to be done in order for it to be successful. It will run like a real meet! Only Jr Lancers that HAVE NOT bumped up to the team and swam in a competitive meet WILL be participating in the mini meet along with all Lil Lancers. The Mini Meet will be run during Friday FUNday right after team pictures wraps up.

Friday FUNday: The theme this Friday is Lancer pride as all swimmers will be wearing their grey Lancer t-shirt.  The Jr & Lil Lancer Mini Meet will be going on during FUNday

Lost and Found: Be aware that we have our own lost and found. All items that have been left are put into our shed and routinely placed outside the shed during practice to hopefully be claimed as swimmers come and go. All goggles that are left go into Coach Lauren's goggle stash so look there first if you're missing yours.
