Lake Ridge Swim Club Membership Details, if interested
We have been getting some questions on how membership will be working for the club now that they are under new ownership. In case anyone didn't get the email direct from the club, here are some details:
Well… that took a little longer than we planned… yeesh! (1)
What we thought would be a matter of days getting the Lake Ridge Swim Club Member Splash transferred to Occoquan Swimming, here we are three months later. But I think we are good now!
We are offering all renewals at the early bird discount period that will expire on March 21 at 11:59pm.
To register:
1) Visit the website: Lake Ridge Swim Club – Membership Portal (membersplash.com)
2) Log in using your old credentials (if you forgot your username or password, use the retrieve feature.
3) Once you log in, you’ll see your account. Please make sure all the information is up to date and good.
4) Click on “Make a Payment”
5) Choose the membership you would like to purchase, then choose payment method.
6) Next enter your payment information and submit.
7) Your account should immediately populate with the account type you purchased. (if you see anything other than that, please let me know as we are still working through a couple of bugs).
8) Sit back, wait for the season to jump in. (but also watch for more emails to share important information about the summer.
9) You will have access to guest passes and more later.
Ok so now that we have the membership portal up and running, we have a few things to share:
1) The white coat of the pool will be done in April, and you can expect a beautiful, bright look to the pool once repairs and resurfacing is done.
2) The baby pool is also being repaired. We anticipate that it will be operational starting this summer.
3) To preserve our pool, we will be installing a winter cover after the summer season is over. This should help us maintain the white coat and pool surface a little longer.
A couple exciting changes you’ll see this year:
1) Opening day is Friday, May 24 – we plan to have a gold member only event to welcome everyone and kick off the summer.
2) We will be open for members on weekdays before PWCS are out. While the lanes will be used by the Lancers swim team, a portion of the pool deck and the shallow area and deep area will be open to members to enjoy the early summer evenings 4:00-7:00pm M-Th.
3) Friday, June 3 and June 10 will be fully open to the membership 4-8pm (as well as Saturdays & Sundays and Memorial Day.
4) Regular hours are:
Sunday-Thursday 12pm-7pm
Friday & Saturday 12pm-8pm (some Saturdays opening will be 2pm due to swim meets.)
5) Special Events – while we are still putting the finishing touches on these, we are excited to share some membership events this summer. More details will be available soon.
Note the membership rates and what is included in each is a little different this summer.
Silver membership is a basic/pay-as-you-go membership meant for one person to use the pool. Each silver membership may bring one guest to the pool with them, however, may only use up to 20 guest passes for the summer. Each visit is $5 for the Silver member and $10 for each guest they have visit.
Gold memberships offer full access to the benefits of the pool including unlimited guest visits throughout the summer (however each level of membership as limits on the number of guests per visit). Guest visits are $5 per visit.
Much more will be shared as we get closer to the swimming season opening. But for now, we hope you and your family will join us as a member of Lake Ridge Swim Club for this summer. Feel free to share this early bird special with others. Prices will go up starting March 22 and then again on May 15.
