Lancer News - Week 2

Our swimmers did such a great job at Time Trials! Hopefully everyone got a good taste of what a meet will be like. Let's do it again but add another team this time! This Saturday we have our first swim meet at home against the Ashland Stingrays. Please go to the events tab and commit your swimmer(s) for this meet by tonight so Coach Lauren can set up events and relays. Better yet, do it now! We don't enjoy tracking people down on deck on Wednesdays to see if they'll be at the meet. Again, once you do that, please click on the job signup tab and pick a job. If you missed the parent meeting on deck, just know that you will be able to see your kid(s) swim even while volunteering. Quick reminder to swimmers and their guardians - swimmers are not allowed to write on their bodies other than their events on their arms and good, respectful behavior during meets is expected and required. 

You have already received an email with a link to donate various items for our concession stand. Concessions is where our team makes money so the more we can offer, the better off the team is. 

Have you gotten your Lancer swim cap? Sarah Smith and/or Carli Giles is on deck during practice selling caps, goggles and Lancer car magnets. 

On Thursday, I will be sending out the email with the meet details. Don't forget, this Friday is our first FUN FRIDAY of the summer at 9am! This is only for competitive team swimmers. Jr and Lil Lancers, you have something to look forward to if/when you bump up to the competitive team!

Last but not least, Lil Lancers start next Tuesday at 10:45am!!!
