Jax 50 Swim Meet

This is an exciting time!!! It has been a year since some of our swimmers had the chance to compete in a long-course swim meet. Now we have new swimmers joining them. We also have experienced some long-course. This weekend is going to be AMAZING!

GENERAL INFO

WHAT:

12th JAX50 SWIM MEET 

Saturday, April 20 - Sunday, 21

POOL LOCATION:

Planet Swim and Tennis Club, 300 Davis Park Rd, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081.

ARRIVAL:

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the warm-up time so swimmers can settle, check the facility, and have a proper warm-up.

WARM-UPS:

Session #1:

Prelims: Warm-up 7:30 am Meet Start 8:30 am

Finals: Warm-up 3:30 pm Meet Start 4:30 pm

Session #2:

Prelims: Warm-up 7:30 am Meet Start 8:30 am

Finals: Warm-up 3:30 pm Meet Start 4:30 pm

WHAT TO BRING?

We want to help you prepare. Below are some items that you MUST bring. 
  • Team shirt (MUST BRING)
  • Team Swim Cap (MUST BRING)
  • Printed Heat Sheet
  • Bug Spray
  • Extra warm clothing
  • Extra goggles and swimsuit
  • Extra towels
  • Black Sharpie to write events
  • Snacks / Water bottle

NOTES FROM THE HOST

 

Please remember your parents and swimmers that parking at our facility is  only for coaches and officials. No exception. Parents, swimmers, and general spectators are welcome to park at the Davis Park public lot first come, first serve. See the map attached.
No parking is allowed at the church.
 
This year marks the 12 th  edition of the JAX50 as the event continues to be of great benefit to the swimming community in general. As you may be aware, the net proceeds from this weekend's event are used to fund swimming scholarships to nearly 300 children in Duval, St. Johns, and Clay County, and over the years, our very own JAX50 Sprint Dual Challenge has raised and granted over $100,000 in swimming scholarships to the benefit of nearly 1200 children in the community.
