Lifeguard Staff

Concession Stand
Concession stand staff is responsible for operating and maintaining the concession stand and all necessary supplies. Staff will be taking and fulfilling orders, operating food preparation equipment and handling cash and credit card transactions. Staff will also be responsible for maintaining the concession stand through regular cleaning and sanitizing and keeping all products stocked.
Responsibilities/Duties
-
Take and fulfill food and drink orders.

Process cash and credit card sales, including making correct change.

Prepare food items based on instructions
-
Maintaining product levels through stocking and organizing food and drinks

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing counters, food prep equipment, and floors
-
Operating food preparation equipment
-
Report to manager any issues that arise throughout the shift
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
14 years of age or older at time of employment.

If under 16 years of age, must get a work permit from school.

Able to work varied shifts including mornings, days, evenings and weekends.
Front Desk
The front desk staff is responsible for entrance to the swim club for all members and guests. The front desk staff verifies memberships, collects appropriate fees, keeps current records and answers questions about the swim club.
Responsibilities/Duties

Control entry to the club on a daily basis.

Maintain a guest register and collect fees for all guests.

Register new or existing members and collect yearly dues

Accept food orders and make announcements

Count and give correct change
-
Answer phone calls
-
Communicate with members and guests
-
Assists with scheduling swim lessons, parties and other events at the pool.
Qualifications
-
14 years of age or older at time of employment.

If under 16 years of age, must get a work permit from school.

16 years of age is preferred.

Able to work varied shifts including mornings, days, evenings and weekends.
Lifeguard
Under immediate supervision of the Assistant Manager, monitors activities in the water, pool decks, and ancillary areas of the club to ensure the safety of members and guests; learns, explains, and enforces safe swimming programs and pool policies, regulations, and rules. Performs rescues and administers first aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
Responsibilities/Duties

Provides aquatics safety and supervision for members and guests: monitors activities in the water, pool decks, and grounds to prevent accidents, and to ensure the safety and well-being of patrons.

Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.

Administers first aid in the event of injury.
-
Rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration if necessary.
-
Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.
-
Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
-
Assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment.
-
Participates in required training sessions, including safety drills and other emergency procedures.
-
Provides high quality customer service in a safe and timely manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Current Lifeguard certification maintained throughout employment.

Must be 15 years of age.
