Alexander Cushman Head Swim Coach

"Hi there! Coach Al here! To me, swimming is the best sport and exercise anyone can do! It’s my passion and I enjoy helping others gain their confidence in the water. I have been involved in the swimming community for my entire life. I started out at the Pottstown YMCA with swim lessons as a toddler and eventually qualified for nationals in multiple events as a junior and senior in high school. I swam for Spring-Ford High School where I became an all-American in the 100yd butterfly. From there, I was recruited and swam for the University of Pittsburgh. Shortly after that, I got into coaching where I led the OJR age group program to their 1st league championship! Then, I coached at Laurelwood summer swim club, ACAC, and Spring Valley High School. It’s an honor to be here at Hidden Hollow. I look forward to being a part of this great organization and helping this team reach its true potential!"
