Coach Patti has been coaching the Mentor Marlins since the 2021 season.  She is also an assistant varsity swim coach and math teacher at Mentor High School and has a combined 19 years of teaching and coaching experience.  Coach Patti began her own competitive swimming career as a Euclid Panther in the 1990s.  She looks forward to working with swimmers of all ages, including her own children, to develop a love for the sport and positive personal development that swim team builds.

Hi! I’m Coach Mallory! I have been swimming since I was 6 years old and I started on the Mentor Marlins, so I swam on the team for 13 years. This is my fourth year coaching with the Marlins. I just graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor's in Education and am planning on teaching in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. I was also a member of the Baldwin Wallace swim team.The aspect I enjoy the most about swimming is being able to swim with my teammates and watch them improve. I enjoy how hard working the Marlins are and how they know how to work together as a team. I look forward to helping all of the swimmers improve their strokes and technique over the course of this season! Go Marlins! 

I'm Kevin Meyer and I've been swimming for 12 years and have been a part of the Marlins program for all 12 of those years. I have just finished my freshman year at Baldwin Wallace University to further my academic and athletic career by joining their finance program and their swim team. I enjoy the team aspect of swimming immensely and love to see what I can do to help that team. I also enjoy the personal challenge of trying to get better everyday and I hope to reflect this attitude on to the kids I will be coaching. I can't wait for all the fun we will have this season and to see what we can accomplish along the way.

Hi there, I'm Coach Sammy! I swam for 10 years, this is my fourth year coaching with the Marlins and I am also a swim coach at the UH fitness center! I swam for the Mentor Marlins, YMCA penguins, and all four years at Mentor High School. Last season I coached the eight and unders. I can't wait to help everyone achieve their own personal goals big or small. I am so excited to work hard and have fun this season! Go Marlins!

Hello! I’m Lilly Parkinson, and I’ve been swimming competitively since I was 9 years old, and I’ve been a Marlin for every one of those years! This will be my third season coaching with the Marlins, and I’m excited to continue building on our progress and helping the team grow. I’m really looking forward to working with the kids, pushing them to get better, and having a lot of fun along the way. It’s going to be a great season! Go Marlins!!

Hi! My name is Madison Andres and starting in the fall of 2025 I will be a sophomore at Ohio University. I have been swimming competitively for 13 years and 10 of those years have been spent with the Mentor Marlins. This will be my third year coaching and I am so excited to see all of the new and retuning faces! Something I love most about swimming is the team atmosphere, I met some of my best friends swimming with the Marlins. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet everyone and helping them work toward their individual goals!

Hi! I'm Coach Brody! I've been swimming since I was five years old, and I'm so excited to bring my love for the sport to the Mentor Marlins this season—my first year as a coach! I currently swim for Perry High School and Great Waves Aquatics, and I’m always looking to learn, improve, and most importantly, have fun in and out of the water. I can’t wait to help our swimmers grow, cheer them on, and make this a summer to remember. Let’s go Marlins!

Hi I’m Coach Carley! I swam for 13 years, 11 of those years as a Marlin! The remainder of my swimming career was spent at Mentor High School, Lake Catholic High School, and Great Waves Swim Club. Being a part of Mentor Marlins was what sparked my love for the sport. The encouraging coaches, the family like atmosphere, competition, and what fun we have, is why I love this team so much. I am so excited to now be working with swimmers to reach their goals, work on their strokes, and see their love for the sport grow! I can’t wait for this season!

Hi! I’m Sophia Messina and I have been swimming for about 13 years and am currently part of the Great Waves swim team along with swimming for Mentor High School. I enjoy the competition, motivation, and team enthusiasm that comes with swimming and hope to help the swimmers feel the same through my coaching.
