Season Overview

At last, the SEASON OVERVIEW is here!

For many returning families this will be a review but for those who may be new, Tall Grass Lightning (TGL) provides many opportunities to swim and have fun in an eight week season! Practices are held Monday through Friday (with time off for the 4th of July holiday). As you will see on the overview, there are ten (10) dual meets scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays either at our own pool or away. There are social events for both kids and parents throughout the season and championship meets at the end of July.

Just a little tip: TGL is what you make of it; you’re not expected to do it all! We do ask that you commit to at least 4-5 meets to fulfill your volunteer obligation. Of course we want you to be there as much as possible, but we understand the importance of family time and vacations too!

You will find this is the very best value in learning all 4 strokes while having fun with friends right here in the neighborhood!

Lastly, this overview is tentative as practice times may change a bit in the coming months. We will be sure and get the final overview to you as soon as things are confirmed.
