Important Info- week 2 & Time Trials
Hello TGL families,
You just received a few emails from our head coach Jeff Davis and one yesterday from Christine Paik. These emails provide directions for commiting/declining attendance at meets. YOU MUST COMMIT TO MEETS 48 HOURS prior to the meet. My advice is to go in and commit or decline to all the meets for the summer (except Classic/City) right now, beginning with Time Trials this Saturday. Time trials is an opportunity for swimmers to get their baseline time and we reward swimmers 12 and under with time drop bag tags each time they improve their times at meets! Time Trials is a meet with only Tall Grass Swimmers and it's a great kickoff to the season! You must register for Time Trials by Thursday, June 6th at MIDNIGHT! For all meets, we have the ability to scratch or delete a swimmer from a meet, but we cannot add swimmers to a meet once the deadline has passed. If registration for a meet is closed and your swimmer is sick or can't attend, please email Jeff Davis at [email protected]. Please note you are still responsible for your volunteer commitments if your swimmer does not attend a meet.

Under the scrolling team pictures you will see important icons: Season Overview, Calendar, and Meet and Job Signup. BIG NEWS!!!! You can now subscribe to the calendar and have your swimmer's practice times, meets, and social events on your personal calendar in your phone!!! Directions are online. Above the picture, you see tabs: Home, Calendar, Events, Practices, Times, etc. Click on the Calendar tab and you will see " How to Subscribe to the Calendar". You'll find amazing screenshots and explicit directions there!

- First am Practice: Friday, June 7th -- First morning practice of the season!
- Time Trials: Saturday, June 8th -- Check in at 7:30 AM (THEME: WEAR your TEAM SHIRT and/or TGL colors)
- Picture Day: Tuesday, June 11th 8:00 AM **NO PRACTICE**
- Broodale Swim Meet @ home: Tuesday, June 11th -- CHECK-IN at 4:30 PM **1st Dual Meet of the Season! (THEME: Pajamas)
