Important- Meet Change TGL v CCCC (now July 16th)
Great news TGL families!
Due to circumstances out of our control, we have extended the 4th of July holiday for Lightning families! What does this mean? The Cress Creek Country Club meet scheduled for July 6th has officially been moved to our reserved rain date of July 16th. It is still a HOME meet vs CCCC. Volunteers scheduled to work the July 6th meet will be automatically moved to the July 16th meet. Same place, same teams, same volunteers, same events, just 10 days later!
What if you are now out of town on July 16th and cannot make it on that new date? Don't fret, we have solutions and options for you!
- First if you CAN'T work the 16th, we do still need TIMERS (timers only) for our meets on June 20th, July 9th, and July 11th.
- Second, there is a list of former swimmers and neighborhood college students (16 & older) that are willing to work the meet for a fee.
- Please contact Sharon or Heather for this list.
- Third, you can go onto Facebook and ask if anyone is willing to trade and work your job for the CCCC July 16th meet for another date that you did not sign up for and make the switch.
In all these scenarios, if you make ANY SWITCH, you need to contact Sharon at [email protected] or Heather at [email protected]. If you find a replacement for hire, Sharon or Heather need to know their name and cell phone number, so we have correct name tags printed and know who should be there. These replacements MUST be 16 years or older for insurance purposes. It is important to note we will NOT be reopening the job registration.
We greatly appreciate every TGL parent volunteer; our swim meets and all the joy they bring our Lightning swimmers could not happen without you!
