Time Trials!
Tomorrow we will see you all at 7:30!
- Come with sunscreen, water, iced coffee, blankets, tents, suits, caps, goggles, a Sharpie marker, cash for concessions, and TONS of towels!
- Our new concession partner Chef by Request will be open tomorrow morning!
- The theme is TGL team shirts and/or Tall Grass Lightning yellow and black team colors. Swimmers will check in with your age group coaches behind the blocks first thing!
- Send your swimmer over to the coaches with the clipboards behind the blocks at the start of the lanes!
- Volunteers look for Heather Schwarz at the volunteer table near the concession area.
- Families are welcome to find some shade to set up tents on the hill behind the far end of the pool. Remind your swimmers not to climb the fences or go behind the wooden fence.
- Log into the team website at www.tallgrasslightning.com and click on edit commitment to see the events your swimmer is entered in. IF you notice your swimmer is listed as the incorrect age, this is NOT A PROBLEM and will be corrected by meet start.
- Once the HEAT SHEETS have been printed, they will be located near the bullpen. You'll want to write the event and heat and lane your swimmer is in for each event they swim on their arm in black Sharpie.
- Kids will be bullpened or gathered and put into the correct placement for swimming their events if they are 6 and under, 7 and 8, and 9 and 10 years old. This will occur under the tented area where all the chairs with numbers are located (you'll see it).
- Bullpen area is where heat sheets are posted. It is also where your kids will be stationed before their events so it is very helpful if you're aware of what event is being bullpened by looking at the whiteboard there to get your swimmer to their spot.
That's all I can think of for now. Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and families that make swim meets such a fun experience for our kids!
