FIRST DUAL MEET TONIGHT!

Hello all,

I hope your swimmers are pumped for our first dual meet of the season! 

  • Please arrive PROMPTLY at 4:30PM; the parking lot will be a lot more full with another team present. 
  • Your swimmer should enter and immediately find their age group coach to check in. Look for them behind the blocks.
  • Bring your sunscreen, suits, caps, goggles, water, and PAJAMAS! That's right tonight's THEME IS PAJAMAS!!! Your kids will be ready for bed after this meet. Full disclosure: Brookdale is a big team and so are we! While swimmers are limited to 3 individual events (2 for 6 and unders) with relays added and another big team present, the meet will be longer than Saturday's Time Trials.
  • Great news: Chef By Request will have the concessions open for dinner! The grill will be hot and I hear they're serving hot dogs, polish sausage, and pulled pork! They will also have Jet's Pizza for sale and as always, Jet's delivers to the pool! 
  • If you didn't declare for this meet, make sure you visit www.tallgrasslightning.com to register your swimmer(s) for Thursday at home v. Centennial Beach and Saturday at home v. YMCA! 3 Home meets in a row, then we get to visit a few neighboring pools next week!
