Hi FAST Families,

We’re excited for the season ahead and have a few important updates and reminders to share as we kick off April!

πŸ“ Waitlist & Drops

We know many families are eager to move off the waitlist, and we’re monitoring spots closely. If your plans have changed and your swimmer will not be participating this summer, please email us as soon as possible so we can unenroll your family and offer that spot to someone on the waitlist.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Open Volunteer Positions (Covers All Points!)

We're still looking to fill a few key roles for the season as described below. These volunteer roles cover your volunteer points for the season! Please reach out if you are interested in any of these positions. We'd love to have you on our 'board' team!

  • Head Timer (Season-long role) Oversees timers at meets β€” covers all volunteer points.
  • Fundraising Director (Board Position) Leads our Swim-a-Thon (our biggest fundraiser) and coordinates 3-4 dine-out events.
  • Social Events Director (Board Position, can be shared) Helps coordinate age group socials, two potlucks, and the post-champs party.

🐬 Dolphins Night Out β€” Come Cheer with Us!

Join us in supporting our FAST swimmers and coaches at two upcoming high school meets:

  • Foothill Home Meet – April 18 at 4 PM
  • Foothill vs Amador – April 25 at 4 PM @ Amador High School

Wear your FAST gear and come show your Dolphin pride!

πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Volunteer Sign-Ups Open – May 19 at 8:00 AM on the Sport Engine Motion App (same login as TeamUnify)

  • Each family is responsible for 5 volunteer points, including those with swimmers age 15+.
  • Volunteer Checks (made out to FAST Dolphins):
  • $500 base + $100 per additional swimmer
  • Not cashed unless points are unfulfilled

🏊 Missed the Swimmer Evaluation?

No worries! If your swimmer (especially 6U, 7/8s, or any new swimmer) missed eval night, coaches will assess them during the first day of practice on May 19 and follow up with feedback.
