Hi FAST Family!

We hope you all enjoyed a fun and restful holiday weekend! We can’t wait to see your swimmers back in the pool tomorrow morning as we gear up for our next meet on Saturday, July 12th against Del Prado.

👏 Special shout-out to all of our swimmers who competed at last Wednesday’s TVSL Extra Chance Meet! If your swimmer is now eligible, don’t forget to COMMIT for the Champs Meet.

🏆 2025 Champs Meet Details

Champs is just around the corner! Please read these important details carefully so we can make this an amazing meet for all our swimmers:

• CHAMPS MEET will be held on Saturday, July 19th at Foothill High School and will start at 9am and end around 2-3pm
• Set up and Stroke & Turn meeting will be the night before at 6:30pm
• Everyone will need to VOLUNTEER, regardless of any Season-long job you may hold. Volunteer signup will open Thursday, July 10th at 8am.
• TENT SETUP will be in the parking lot in the first 3 rows - no access to the tennis courts or lawn due to construction
• Families will need to buddy up and share tents due to space constraints
• Wind may be a factor and tents may require some additional securing, we will track the weather and wind closer to the date.  
• PARKING will be available in the remaining large lot space, FHS Staff Lot (north side of the school) and Muirwood Drive for overflow. 
• There will be a drop off zone but we highly encourage carpooling. 
• WARM UP LANE will be available for 11/12+ age groups ONLY with an entrance and exits at the steps. We ask that parents of younger swimmers please monitor their kids and ensure they don't lineup for warm-ups. Additionally, we ask that parents remind their swimmers that this is for warm-up, only not for playing or just hanging out. We almost ditched the warm-up lane altogether so please let's try to make this work.
• ON-DECK SHOWER  will be CLOSED and blocked off during the meet due to safety. We will not have a monitor for the shower, so please let your swimmer know ahead of time that they are off-limits. 
• TIMING AREAS will be CLOSED and blocked off to all except for Swimmers, AGCs and Coaches no more than 3 heats prior to their race. Monitors at the entrance will have meet programs and parents will not be permitted into the timing areas.  We are NOT using the same timing system as last year CHAMPS. This year we will be using our standard Dolphin Timing system. 
• FOOD TRUCKS will be set up in the parking lot (2 savory options, 1 sweet)
• 2025 CHAMPS T-SHIRTS will be available for sale by the field house.

🌮 Post-Champs Dinner RSVP

We’ll celebrate our swimmers with a team taco dinner and awards on Saturday, July 19th, after Champs at Highland Oaks Cabana Club.

Swimmers eat FREE!

Non-swimmer guests: $8 per person.

RSVP deadline: July 10th — please RSVP and submit payment ASAP so we can plan food.
