Del Amigo is a community based swimming pool where all members are owners, even the board members. We are so proud to be a part of the Danville/Alamo community. We have 2 member work days per year, one for the opening of the pool in the Spring, and one at the end of the regular season in the Fall. All members are expected to work these two work days, or pay a missed work day fee of $50.
 
Del Amigo has many programs to offer you and your family. There is a wonderful community of adult swimmers that lap swim every morning beginning at 6am. We have our award winning swim team (the Dolphins) with a magnificent coach guiding our young swimmers. For the younger swimmers we have Dynamite Dolphins (age’s 4-6 year old) and the Guppy Program (2-3 1/2 year old) to help future swimmers down the lanes. Del Amigo also offers swim lessons for all ages with fabulous swim instructors through our Learn To Swim program. It is always best to take swim lessons in the pool your child is most familiar.
 
When asked what makes our pool stand out, it is the families that are part of the community and our good old fashion love for summer time. Come down and play basketball with your children, hang out on the grass and throw a ball, enjoy the kiddie pool with your 6 and under child or lounge with other families as your child learns all the tricks on our diving board.
 
2026 New Member Fees:
- $400 stock deposit 
- $50 key deposit  
- $400 administration fee
- $1,600 2026 dues
Total Due to DAPA- $2,450.00
 

*Missed workday fees (2 mandatory workdays every year), $50 per workday. If you missed a 2025 workday, this fee has been added to your 2026 member dues
*Lost pool keys - a $50 fee will be added to your 2026 member dues for any key not returned  to Gigi McClaskey (301 Del Amigo Rd).
 
All pool policy, facility hours and rules are on our website with much more information (e.g. Lifeguard hours, swim lessons, swim team, reserving the facility for parties.) 
 
Membership with Del Amigo does not guarantee your child a spot on the Swim Team. Swim Team registration begins in January for returning swimmers, and then the swim team adds new swimmers by what age group needs to be filled first.
