2026 DEL AMIGO SPRING SWIM CONDITIONING
Registration and program dates and times will be posted in January.
Del Amigo Pool Association (DAPA) will be offering a Spring Conditioning Clinic during the month of March. We are excited to be able to offer spring training!
Emphasis for the spring conditioning program will be:
1. Staying Safe
2. Building on the technical foundation of the four competitive strokes
3. Stroke drill progression, flip turns and dives
4. Importance of head/body position and leg drive
5. HAVING FUN
The program is open to ALL DAPA member swimmers as well as non-members! Registration for all DAPA programs is via Team Unify. Communication will be emailed with a link to register for the Spring Conditioning Clinics. This link will also be available on the Del Amigo Pool home page on and after FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Spring Conditioning is an optional program and is not required as part of the 2025 summer swim team.
- Swimmers need to bring goggles and fins to all practices. Kickboards are provided by the coaching staff.
- All swimmers should wear a suit that is suitable for lap swim and dives. Girls should wear a one-piece suit and boys need a speedo or fitted jammer swim bottom.
- This program is open to all DAPA members (and not only those who have already registered for the swim team for the summer).All fees for the Spring Conditioning program are separate from those fees for summer 2024 Del Amigo Swim Team
- The focus of Spring Conditioning programs is on technical stroke improvement and instruction, enjoying being in the pool again, and getting ready for another amazing season at Del Amigo! This program abides by the Contra Costa County Championship Swim Meet eligibility rules, which restrict lessons/clinics as of March 1 to a maximum of 15 hours of training by the team. Please note that this 15-hour limit includes clinics and private lessons.
