Q: When can I register for the 2025 season?
A: Registration for returning swimmers is expected to open in mid-February and early March for new swimmers.

A: Granada High School - 400 Wall Street, Livermore
 
Q: What is the timeframe of the 2025 season?
A: mid-May to late July
 
Q: What are the practice days and times?
A: Please view our practice page for dates and times.
General Season Schedule:
Mid May - June (typically the last day of school): T/Th or M/W afternoons, depending on age group
Mid June - Late July: M/T/W/Th mornings
 
Q: Will there be swim meets?
A: Yes! We will be having swim meets for the 2025 season.
 
Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Registration costs for the 2025 season are $350 per swimmer. For families with multiple swimmers, there is a $25 discount per child, after the first swimmer. Swimmers in the 15-18 age group are $250 and no sibling discount.

Q: Are there any requirements?
A: Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted and without holding on to the lane lines.
- ALL NEW swimmers aged 6 years-old and younger will attend tryouts.
- Swimmers in the 7-8 age group will have the opportunity to try out if they are not certain they can swim the length of the pool.
- If registration fees have been paid and swimmer has been evaluated as not water safe, a refund will be made.

Q: Is there a team suit?
A: A custom Sunset Swim Team suit is available through our team store on Swim Outlet. Please know, this suit is not required. Any red/black or red or black suit works!
 
Q: Are we having team pictures?
A: Yes! We can't wait to get a new team photo! Picture day will be Friday, June 13, 2025. Details to follow.
 
Q: Is there any special equipment required?
A: Swimmers need a competitive/training suit, which is a one-piece for girls (no two-piece), jammers or briefs for boys plus a swim cap and goggles.
