Work Requirements

Unlike many sports, swimming and diving are parent run sports.  All meets and functions are run by our team families.  Our parents and volunteers are the heartbeat of our team!  We thank you for your support and your hard work to ensure that each swimmer and diver has an amazing experience!

• The work requirement applies to all families.  If your swimmer or diver does not participate in meets,  the work requirement does still apply.  
• Jobs are for the duration of the event unless shift times are specified.
• Please do not "hold" jobs in excess of the required amount. Accounts holding excess jobs will be administratively reduced to the number of required jobs. We need to ensure that jobs are available for members to select to meet their requirement. Holding additional jobs can also cause no shows and being short workers at events. Completing two double credit jobs is allowed to meet the requirement.

Swim Meets, Dive Meets, Practice, Swim Prelims, Dive Conferences/Finals and Social Events

All families with a swimmer or diver on the Team must sign up for and complete three jobs.  
Families who only have a swimmer in Swim Academy must complete two jobs.

These can be any combination of swim meets, dive meets, practice, swim prelims, dive conferences/finals, social events or other events that require volunteers.

If you work one job at a Swim Meet, Dive Meet, or Social/Other Event you will receive credit for one job worked.

If you work one job at Swim Prelims, Dive Conferences/Finals or as Bullpen Corral Master (experienced swim team parent) at a swim meet you will receive credit for two jobs worked.  
 

Swim Finals

If you have a child that qualifies and participates at Swim Finals, you must work at Swim Finals.

Jobs at Swim Finals are in addition to the three job requirement.

Double credit jobs

Swim Prelims jobs, Dive Conference/Finals jobs and Bullpen Corral Master (experienced swim team parent) will be worth double credit.  

Work one job at Swim Prelims, Dive Conference/Finals or Bullpen Corral Master (swim meet) and receive credit for two jobs worked.

*Swim Prelims and Dive Conference/Finals workers must be available to work the rain date if necessary.

Dive Conferences will be held at Center of Clayton

11&over July 11 (rain date July 13)

10&under July 12 (rain date July 13)

Swim Prelims will be held @ Manchester

11&over July 14, 7am (rain date July 16)

10& under July 15, 7am (rain date July 16)

Team families - Complete one job at Swim Prelims, Dive Conferences/Finals or Bullpen Corral Master (experienced swim team parent) and one more job at a Swim Meet, Dive Meet, Practice or Social Event and that would total three jobs worked.

Signing up for a job

To sign up for a job,  please click the “Job Signup” button next to the event you would like to work at.  Then choose your job from the list of jobs.  Please provide the name of the family member who will be working and contact number when signing up.

Failure to complete work requirements

Failure to complete work requirements will result in your credit card on file being charged up to $600 during the first week of August ($200 for each unfulfilled job requirement).
