Performance Squad swimmers Ashley Koh (17 yrs.) racing for Singapore at South East Asian Age Group Championships

Our own Ashley Koh was selected to represent her country Singapore at the recent South East Asian Age Group Championships from June 25.-27. The Championships was held as a facility test for the upcoming World Aquatics long course World Championships at the July. Ashley was racing in the pool that Siobhan Haughey and Ian Ho are scheduled to compete for Team Hong Kong in 4 weeks.

Ashley had one race every day and made a mark by delivering three strong times over the course of the SEA Age Champs. She started out with the 100 m butterfly on Wednesday 25.6. where she finished in 1:05.92 and claimed 13th.

The next day she featured in the 50 m butterfly touching in 29.79 ranking 16th. Her last event on Friday was the 100 m freestyle. Ashley did a 1:01.68 that placed her 17th among the 16-18 yrs old girls.

Well done Ashley and Congratulations on another selection on the Singapore Youth Team! We are looking forward to see you compete in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Open Champs in August.
