Keith Sin at the Open Water World Championships in Singapore!
Wednesday 16th – Sunday 20th July, 2025
HWI-SCAA top Open Water swimmer Keith Sin battled the waves, heat, and the world’s best in Sentosa/Palawan Beach.
Below are Keith’s individual and HKG team results:
First event on Wednesday 16th July was the 10km Marathon
Keith did very well in this gruelling event with a time of 2:12:31.80 finishing in 48th/88
With little time to recover Keith was entered in the 5km Speed Test on Friday 18th July. Keith’s time of 1:04:19 placed him in 58th position (of 85)
On Saturday the 19th came the 3km Knockout Sprint
Placed in Heat 1, Keith’s time was 18:03.80 giving him 43rd place (of 61)
Finally on Sunday 20th was the team event: a 4x1500m Mixed Relay (Team HKG)
The HKG team finished in a time of 1:18:48.60 placing them in 19th position
Congratulations and great respect to Keith, racing in very tough events over four days and holding his own against World champions and Olympians!!
