HWI swimmer Isobel Tran selected to represent HKG

Isobel Tran (12yrs) selected for Malaysian Age Group Champs!

Another swimmer from the HWI programme, nurtured since childhood, is now selected to represent Hong Kong for the first time in an overseas competition.

Tran Isobel Anh Gia will represent the HKG Age Group Team from 5-8 Feb, 2026 at the MILO/MAS Malaysia Invitational Age Group Championships

Isobel joined the HWI LTS programme at aged 5 (From B1 to Improver)
She was promoted to Swim Team Training at aged 7 (and has since progressed from Development Squad to Performance Squad)

In the November 2025 Long Course Age Group Championship, Isobel captured the following medals: 100m Backstroke 🥈,50m Freestyle 🥉,100m Freestyle 🥉

We wish Isobel great success in Malaysia and hope she brings glory to Hong Kong and HWI.
