SWIM MEET UNIFORMS:

For swim meets, all swimmers are expected to compete in and wear:

  • OSSSC swimsuit
  • OSSSC swim cap (provided)
  • OSSSC t-shirts (provided)

 

PRACTICE UNIFORMS:

Each swimmer should also have the following equipment (and bring them to every practice);

  • Swim cap (latex or silicone)
  • Goggles
  • Swimsuit (polyester has more durability, than spandex or lycra)
  • Water bottle (labeled with name)

Purchase for practice uniforms can be found anywhere that sells swim gear.  Okotoks Rec Center sells goggles (in the front desk display window) and one of the most economical places to source swimsuits for practice is found at Decathlon at the South Center Mall.  Muge and Team Aquatics are also great resources for these items and discounts are applied at Team Aquatics.  See below!

 

SWIMSUITS:

​Team competition swimsuits will be available to try on and order at the Okotoks Rec Center on April 13 and April 16 (details made available to members prior via email). If you miss this opportunity, you can try on swimsuits and order through Team Aquatics in Calgary or reach out to our Equipment Coordinator Tendai Alabi.  The club has some new and used swimsuits that will be available for purchase for these two events.  Each family is responsible for ordering and purchasing of their swimmer's competition suit.

SWIMSUIT ORDERING DEADLINE IS APRIL 17TH: This way ordered swimsuits are expected to arrive in time for our first swimmeet the first weekend of June.

The Shark Card for swimmers:  Fixed 20% discount on most products (exceptions are custom, sale and clearance items)

 

This does not apply to:

  • custom Okotoks Stingrays Competition swimsuits
  • caps with Logos 
  • embroidery, and screen print, and apparel.

The Stingrays Online store will be open for parents and swimmers to purchase Stingrays Merchandise for the months of March and April.  We work locally with Classic Source for Sports!
