Professional Background/Expertise:

In my professional life I am an RN and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am the parent of athletes and swimmers! This is far more relevant training for the Parent Liaison position. Currently we have one swimmer, but have been a part of other EFSL teams when all of our children participated. 

Personal Interests: 

These days my hobby is attending my kids sporting events. It is always where I would rather be! Like most of our USAG family my family also enjoys travel whenever we get the chance.

Vision for the Swim Team: 

My vision for our beloved Piranhas is to see our swimmers grow their talent while developing that comradery that is so pivotal to athletic teams. I have always felt that EFSL is the most unique league my family has been a part of. You won’t often find teams that consist of members ages six to 19 years of age. The opportunity offered by our team's diversity is its greatest strength. We have team members of all ages, backgrounds, experiences, skill levels, and more. I look forward to watching our swimmers and families make the most of that opportunity this season.

Pete Piranha may have started his career as a water-loving fish, but he quickly rose to become the unrivaled mascot of our team. With 49 years of experience swimming through these currents, Pete knows every stroke, dive, and flip turn like the back of his fin. His ability to energize the crowd and uplift our swimmers makes him the true MVP of our aquatic adventures.

Personal Interests:
When he's not prowling the pool waters for Kingfish or setting freestyle records, Pete Piranha can be found perfecting his synchronized swimming routine with his fellow aquatic creatures. From practicing graceful spins to executing jaw-dropping leaps, Pete's dedication to the art of synchronized swimming is second to none. You might even catch him enjoying a refreshing seaweed smoothie after a long day of splashing around.

Vision for the Swim Team:
Pete Piranha dreams of a swim team that radiates enthusiasm and camaraderie. His vision is to create an environment where swimmers feel inspired to push their limits, chase their dreams, and, of course, have a boatload of fun along the way. Pete believes that with teamwork, determination, and a sprinkle of underwater magic, our swim team will continue to make waves in the pool and bring home victory after victory.

Other Relevant Information:
Pete Piranha is the proud recipient of numerous accolades, including the "Splashiest Entrance" award at the International Mascot Convention and the prestigious "Fin-tastic Performer" title from the Aquatic Entertainment Association. When he's not dazzling the crowd with his underwater acrobatics, Pete volunteers at local swimming clinics, teaching young swimmers the importance of water safety, dangers of Piranhas and encouraging them to follow their aquatic dreams.
