WSA 2025-2026 Board of Directors

Ricki Benjamin
Co-President

Now in her second season as Co-President of the WSA board, Ricki brings leadership and enthusiasm to the swim community. With her daughter entering her fifth season on the team, Ricki has a strong connection to WSA. She has been an active member of the Wellesley community for 14 years, serving on committees at her temple and supporting local organizations. Professionally, Ricki works as a college counselor, and in her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, walking her dog along the aqueduct, golfing, and spending time with her family.

Tim Coleman
Co-President

Tim, a resident of Wellesley, has moved from his role as Bullpen Coordinator to assume the position of Co-President at WSA. With a background as an entrepreneur, he eagerly brings his business acumen to the board. Tim's dedication is fueled by his daughter's involvement with the team, as she is now embarking on her fourth season.

Jackie Hoglund
Vice President
Team Administrator /Communications Director

Jackie grew up swimming for our rival: the Newton Swim Team as well as the New England Barracudas (USS) and Middlebury College.  She resides in South Natick with her husband, 4 children and 2 dogs.  She is starting her 22nd year as an Instructional Technology Specialist (Teacher) in the Wellesley Public Schools.  Three of her children swim on WSA.

Sam Kaplan
Treasurer

As you can tell from his photo, Sam is very excited to join the board of WSA!  While his swimming career fizzled out after being a sleepaway camp freestyle champion at the age of 9, all three of his daughters (Ages 12, 9, and 6) are avid swimmers.  Sam has already done the math putting his Treasurer skills to work.  His oldest joined the team during the '21-22 season, and his youngest won't graduate until the '36-37 season.  At least one Kaplan will be a member of WSA for 15 consecutive years!  Aside from watching his daughters swim, act, and play soccer, Sam can be found on a squash court trying to stay fit himself.

Laura Hennessey
Volunteer Coordinator

Laura resides in Wellesley with her husband and three children, two of whom swim for WSA. She is an active member of the Wellesley community and has held numerous volunteer positions at her children's schools and church. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and walking with her dog on the beautiful trails around Wellesley.

Ezra Benjamin
Meet Director

Ezra brings strong leadership and attention to detail to the deck as he steps into the role of Meet Director.  With his daughter competing as a swimmer for several years, Ezra appreciates the importance of well-organized meets.  He is excited about the opportunity to contribute more actively to WSA and is dedicated to ensuring that each meet is a positive experience for all participants.
