Practice this Week
We have practice Monday-Thursday this week! We do not have practice on Friday due to an event on MSUM campus.
Team Clothing Order
We will have our Team Clothing samples at the pool this week. I will have some order forms available for you. All order forms and payments need to be turned in on October 26th to Coach Jess. You can not pay through sports engine.
FUN MEET - Sign up due TONIGHT (10/16)
Our Fun Meet is October 23rd and 24th. It will be from 6:50-8:30PM. Each day is $5. Our Fun Meet is for athletes to learn what a swim meet is and how it is run along with getting some updated times! We will have our team officials officiating the meet. This is NOT an official meet. There will be prizes and smiles! You need to sign up on our website, NOT THE APP. You can sign up under Meets/Events, click on the Fun Meet event, click Register Online and follow the directions from there. Below is a list of everyone who has registered for the Fun Meet at this point.
FMY Meet - Entries due TUESDAY (10/17)
Our FIRST meet is available! This meet is one of my favorites! It is a 2.5 day meet and this year it will be at the Hulbert Aquatic Center! Make sure to sign up by the deadline. All the meet information is available under Meets/Events. If you are unsure how to register for a meet do not hesitate to ask!
Meet Schedule Updated
Our meet schedule is updated with a few more meets added. Please keep in mind our meet schedule can change at any moment. Mark your calendars for our home meet on January 13th, we need all the help from our families!
November 17-19th: FMY IMX Meet - Fargo, ND
December 2-3rd: WFF Invite - West Fargo, ND
December 16th: RRV Meet - Grand Forks, ND
January 6-7th: MONC Meet - Monticello, MN
January 13th: HOME MEET – Moorhead, MN
January 20-21st: JAWS Meet - Jamestown, ND
January 27th: DL Meet - Detroit Lakes, MN
January 28th: FMY Meet - Fargo, ND
February 3-4th: WFF Meet - West Fargo, ND
February 24-25th: Core 94 Bronze Championships - Monticello, MN (MN Bronze Standards and Slower)
March 1-3rd: MRC - TBD, MN
March 7-10th: Senior State - U of M, MN (MN Champ Times or Faster)
March 9-10th: 10 and Under State - TBD, MN (MN Champ Times or Faster)
March 14-17th: 11-14 State - U of M, MN (MN Champ Times or Faster)
March 23-24th: MYAS - U of M, MN
REQUIRED - USA REGISTRATION
I attached a list of all the athletes who are USA registered with us at the moment., If your athlete is not on the list, they are not USA registered. If your athlete is not USA registered your athlete can NOT attend practice. To register your athlete in USA Swimming please go to our Website, click Registration, click USA Registration Link in blue, and follow the directions from there. If you athlete is in Yellow you need to register for 2024 year by November 1st. If your athlete is in green you are good until Decmeber of 2024.
High School Athletes and Qualifying Meets
If your athlete is attending and meets with our team that require a qualifying time and you want to use their High School times you will need a proof of times report from your High School coach or the results of the meet. You can only use meet results or proof of times for State-level meets or lower. Any Sectional, Zone or National Meets have to be MN High School State Meet, ND EDC or ND State Meet. Any other meet does not qualify them for Sectionals, Zones or National Meets. All proof of times and meet results need to be sent to Coach Jess as many meets will ask for proof of times.
