SEASAC Senior Swimming... school racing is back!

Stamford American International School

SENIOR SEASAC… time to hear our lions roar!!!

Our emails often start off with the words “we are excited…” but we actually are! Senior SEASAC Swimming is happening this and we will be taking a select team to compete at our sister school, the Australian International School located in Lorong Chuan.

SEASAC represents many of the international schools in South East Asia. The meet this year will encapsulate results from Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia aswell as here in Singapore. The rules of the competition require a team effort across a limited number of events, scoring points based on final placings. Our coaches have hand-picked the races for the best results that once combined with other schools will offer final scores. Relays are worth double points!

The event on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March will run in a dual meet format. We are grateful to have partnered with AIS to create an opportunity for our swimmers 14yrs+ to post times for this meet. We have 12 athletes taking part, congratulations on your selection!

There will be a delay (8-10mins) between races for swimmers to be able to swim down and recover to deliver their best performances. We have also invested in meet officials to ensure these times can be reflected on rankings.

Again, we are super excited to be back racing and we hope that you will support the team!
