Nexus Wave Invitational Results

Stamford American International School
Stamford American were in action on Friday 18th November at Nexus Wave Invitational Swim Meet held at Aljunied Road. Lions Swim Academy took 30 athletes by bus to compete against schools from Tanglin, St Joseph, North London and of course Nexus.

There was lots to feel inspired by, the cheering was loud, the music was on and there was plenty of racing. Swimmers were permitted to enter 3 individual races and so had to select carefully.

There were 62 personal bests (PBs) from 90 swims (68.89%). The biggest PB on the night went to Aston is his 100m IM with a whopping 37.11% improvement, well deserved!

There were 5 new school records broken on the night by Ezra, Kim, Courtney and Ethan in their respective age groups.

We were delighted to see our swimmers making new motivational cuts. The USA Motivational standards help swimmers compare times against other age groups and genders. There were 2 AA standards by 2 swimmers, 7 BB standards by 3 swimmers and 8 B standards by 6 swimmers.
