Hot Swimming at a Hot SEASAC Junior Meet in Thailand
Stamford Lions Swim Academy travelled to Bangkok, Thailand to race at SEASAC Junior Swim Meet designed for swimmers aged 11-14yrs of age.
The team performed above expectation with a massive 76 personal bests from 91 swims (83.5% PB rate).
The team of 13 swimmers consisted of Courtney, Aashna, Ksenia, Stepan, Kim, Hannah, Thomas, Altan, Arjan, Hery, Laila, Jasmine and Andrew.
Courtney was our sole medalist, taking 1x silver and 4x bronze bronze medals.
Thomas took a massive 1 minute 11 seconds off his 100m breaststroke for the biggest PB award. Aashna had biggest PB for the girls in the 400m freestyle.
There were 6 different point scoring swimmers amongst 28 events. The individual team point scorers were:

The Stamford Lions Swim Academy was 11th placed men out of 13 teams. The girls team placed 8th overall. It was only just outside of a team target of top a 10 placing in both male and female. Congratulations swimmers!
