MVP (Most Valuable Player): This award recognizes the athlete who consistently displayed exceptional skill, leadership, and impact on the team's performance throughout the season.
"A hard worker and happy to push his physical limits. I sometimes have an even harder time keeping him under control within his physical boundaries… he is so happy to push them. Not afraid of swimming butterfly, winning a silver medal at Senior SEASAC this year in 200m butterfly."
High School - Jaiden Negi
Coaches Choice Award: This award acknowledges a player who exemplifies unwavering commitment, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship, motivating their teammates to give their best effort.
"A deep thinker of the group, always thinking about how he can go faster. Keen to see his teammates do well. Really come on this year, you could have said he had a quiet meet at Feeding Frenzy but he really stayed faithful and stepped up at SEASAC with some outstanding personal bests… even surprised himself!"
HS - Seth Cordingley
Roar Values Award: This award is given to a player who consistently upholds the core values of our sports program, such as integrity, respect, teamwork, and perseverance.
"I think most people in the group would say that the work ethic of this young person is extremely high, extremely focussed on what she wants to achieve. Deep down she wants to see every single person succeed, it can often be displayed in some interesting ways! Recently, her best performances came when she has learned to relax and enjoy the ride, enjoy the journey…"
