SNAGS Seniors Complete Marathon Month of Swimming

Singapore National Age Groups took place at OCBC National Aquatic Centre following on from the Junior Championships just a few days before. They ran over 6 days from 12th - 17th March. Stamford American were represented by several swimmers, Jaiden, Seth, Lang, Miller, Mayya and Ariel.

There was a massive 14 personal bests from 16 swims (87.5% PB rate) with everyone walking away with at least one personal best. Two swimmers made B finals, Jaiden in the 200m Butterfly eventually finishing 9th and Mayya in the 200m breaststroke finishing 22nd. This was Mayya first national competition of this standard and she handled it superbly. The award for the biggest personal best went to Lang, who blitzed his 50m freestyle in style by 22.34%.

A worthy mention must go to Miller. At his first meet for Stamford he showed great composure and gave a great account of himself in the 50m and 100m freestyle.
