GAME FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
MONTHLY PRACTICE COACHING FEES
NOTE: Gamecock Aquatics charges a credit card transaction fee of .30 and a processing fee of 2.95% on all charges.
GAME ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE = Is billed upon registering for the team. The GAME registration fee of $150 is per swimmer, not per family. It includes 3-team t-shirts and 1-team swim cap. The GAME annual registration fee is non-refundable for any reason, including pool closures, moving, illness, etc. Swimmers need to register with the team before returning to practices.
USA ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE = USA Swimming is the governing body of competitive swimming in the United States. We are a USA member Swim Club (team) and I must pay club registration fees annually to USA Swimming. Additionally, each swimmer must pay to be a USA Swimming swimming member. We send you instructions on how to register and pay this fee yourself.
MONTHLY PRACTICE COACHING FEES = Upon your acceptance & team placement into GAMECOCK AQUATICS, you will be signed up for monthly automatic payments for your child’s monthly practice coaching fees. Monthly fees are processed on the 1st of each month and Gamecocks operates on a 12-month billing cycle, regardless of Christmas breaks, spring and summer breaks, etc. Swimmers registering in July will have monthly practice coaching fees processed August 1st. Swimmers registering after the 1st of the month, will have their monthly fees invoiced manually by the Team Manager. Monthly fees are paid before the swimmer swims that month, not afterward.
SWIM MEET FEES = When swimmers enter a meet, additional meet entry fees are incurred and charged to your account. Meet fees are usually charged per event, and a flat per-swimmer fee is usually charged (facility fee, heat sheets, etc). Once the meet entry deadline has passed, meet fees are non-refundable, even if a swimmer doesn’t end up swimming at the meet.
SWIM MEET COACHING FEE = To help offset expenses related to paying coaching, travel, hotel, etc…each swimmer swimming in each meet will be charged a swim meet coaching fee.
SWIM MEET HOSTING FEE = GAME will host two to four swim meets annually. Hosting meets can be vital to cut down travel expenses for swimming families and to bring in revenue for the club to run the business (dry side). Primarily, the meet hosting fee will go towards hospitality (food & meals) for 50-100 coaches and meet officials during the weekend.
AQUA-THON = Is a team event that serves two purposes; 1) team development and 2) raises money to go towards the annual team banquet in August. The Aqua-thon event will consist of a Friday night “FUN FRIDAY” practice followed by pizza, cake and t-shirts. $100 per swimmer (except no Aqua-Thon fee for Peeps) will be drafted on March 1st.
LATE FEE = Fees are processed on the 1st of each month. A $20 late fee will be automatically assessed by our billing system on the 15th of the month for any fees that did not process on the 1st, and that are not manually paid online by the account holder by the 15th. It is the responsibility of the family account holder to update any credit card information, etc. to ensure that fees are processed successfully.
CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION FEES = Gamecock Aquatics charges a .30 cent transaction fee and a 2.95% credit card processing fee on charges.
*******Anytime you wish to see what is charged to your Gamecock Aquatics account, you can log in and go to "Invoices and Payments" under the "My Account" tab. There you will have the option to review your "Current Invoice Summary" that will list all items charged to your account for that month.
