Welcome to SMRT Registration!

There are 2 parts to registration. You must register with USA Swimming and with SMRT. Instructions are below. Please follow them carefully.

USA Swimming Registration (as a PREMIUM athlete) is required to participate in SMRT Swimming. After completing SMRT registration, please complete USA Swimming registration.

Registration for the 2023-24 season will open on August 19, 2023 for all returning swimmers. New swimmers (including those who are part of a family with returning swimmers) must wait to register until September 1, 2023.

The TOP FIVE Most Important Things to Know BEFORE You Register

(PLEASE READ EACH OF THESE CAREFULLY)

  1. RETURNING SWIMMERS may register for the 2023-24 SMRT season beginning on August 26, and NEW swimmers may register starting on September 1, 2023. This (new swimmers) includes swimmers who are new to SMRT, as well as those returning families who are adding a NEW swimmer to their account (such as a younger sibling). Please register ONLY for SMRT at this time. For those who need to register for USA Swimming, information will be sent when it is time for that step.

  2. Avoid the temptation to indicate that you have read everything to move to the next stage without at least scrolling through the documents. The Google forms to register for a pool pass and for swimmer/family t-shirts are part of the registration process. If you fail to complete the form for swimmer/family t-shirts during registration, it is highly likely you will be unable to receive this free gift (one free shirt is provided for the swimmer and one family member). It creates a tremendous amount of extra work if this is not done during the registration process. PLEASE NOTE: If you are a returning family registering a new swimmer, AND you already completed the form for your other swimmer(s), please just email Coach Shelbi at [email protected] with the new swimmer name and shirt size. You do not need to complete the form again.

  3. Review the fee schedule for 2023-24 on the SMRT website at this link. A quarterly payment plan can save a family up to $135 for the year for the first swimmer. But this payment plan is ONLY available to swimmers joining SMRT in September. High school swimmers who will not swim with SMRT until October may wait to register until then, but will not be eligible for the monthly plan (however, it is more cost effective for these swimmers to pay monthly).

  4. During the registration process, AFTER you select your swimmer’s name under “Assign Member,” take note of the gray pencil image to the right of their name (screenshots are at the bottom of this page). You MUST click on this pencil and fill in the two required boxes (indicated with a red asterisk*) regarding medical information. If there is no information to add, please type something such as “N/A” or “none.”

  5. For families with multiple swimmers, when you get to the final checkout, just before you pay, you may see a line that says "Additional fees" with an amount to be charged. It will be explained when you receive the final receipt, but this is the way the site calculates your multi-swimmer discount and deducts it from the pool pass fee ($100). If you already registered your other swimmers and you are charged the $100 again, it will be credited back to you. Email [email protected] with any questions.

Ready to register your returning OR new swimmer?

  1. Do you promise you read the "Top Five" listing above?

  2. Go to: http://swimsmrt.com and choose SIGN IN. If you are a returning swimmer, login with your account information. If you are new to SMRT, then choose CONTINUE TO LESSONS REGISTRATION to create a new account. IF it takes you to a page that says “We’re sorry, we were not able to find a match,” then select SIGN IN (in the top right corner), and then when the Sportsengine login comes up, select “CREATE ACCOUNT” at the bottom. Create a new account with the email address you would like to use for SMRT correspondence.

  3. Once you have logged in, click on Evaluations/Registrations (under the tab for 2023-2024 REGISTRATION) (here: https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/scsccsmrt/page/2022-2023-registration/evaluationsregistration).

  4. Click on the blue "REGISTER ONLINE" link.

  5. You will then select your swimmer's current training group (Minnows, Marlins, Silver, Blue, Senior) and the way you would like to pay (monthly/quarterly) and add the appropriate selection to the cart.

  6. Once you are finished adding all swimmer groups to your cart, you will hit the “checkout now” button.

  7. This will take you to a new page where you will select the name of your swimmer for each group (where it says "Assign Member"). To the right of each swimmer's name will be a pencil. You must click on the pencil and fill in medical info (text must be in the boxes even if it's "none" or "N/A"). To be clear, you click on the pencil when you see the name. (See photo examples at the bottom of this screen)

  8. Answer the question whether this swimmer is transferring from another team.

  9. After filling in pertinent medical information, select NEXT. This will take you to a page with mandatory agreements. Each of these agreements must be read and agreed to. Click "View agreement" and read through the text. This is where the pool pass form ("SMRT Payment Contract") and merchandise form ("Registration Teamwear") are located, so please fill these out.  If you have multiple swimmers, you only need to complete the form ONE TIME. After you have read each and completed the forms, select "I have read and agree" at the bottom of each of the four boxes. Then click "NEXT." If you are a returning family registering a NEW swimmer, you may skip the “Registration Teamwear” form and email Coach Shelbi at [email protected] with your additional shirt size. If you are charged an additional pool pass fee, it will be credited back to you. Email [email protected] with any questions.  (See photo examples at the bottom of this screen)

  10. Finally, select how you would like to pay--check or credit card (a 3% fee is added for credit card transactions). Unfortunately, ACH is not an option for registration. However, ACH is recommended for all subsequent payments. If you have more than one swimmer and will receive a multi-swimmer discount, one of the charges may be for “Additional Fees.” This is where the system calculates your Pool Pass fee, minus your multi-swimmer discount. It will be clear in the final receipt. Once paid, you will receive an email confirmation.

  11. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please email [email protected]
