Amy Okada started swimming competitively at age 9 and joined the Royal Swim Team at age 13. She represented Royal throughout the national stage from 2012-2021.

She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree while receiving a 4 year scholarship to swim at UCLA. After graduating UCLA, she attended Loughborough University in England where she earned her Masters degree while continuing her swimming profession. She is currently working at Southern Cali Hospital to become a Registered Sports Dietitian. She hopes to be a mentor to the swimmers by using her experience to inspire them to achieve their goals. Her hobbies include going to farmers markets, surf racing, and exploring new restaurants and cafes.
