Royal opens up a new short course season with the September South Gate Opener.
The coaches are pleased with the results from this weekend. Let's keep the momentum going with our TSM Meet this weekend.
This past Sunday, 24 swimmers competed. Here are some highlights:
- 100% best times in at least 1 event
- Congratulations to our FIRST TIME swimmers (Josie Evitt, Arvin Farhang, Mia-Bella Makoye, Polina Paranina, Lily-Rose Thomas): None of them missed a single event!
- MARK KISELEV placed TOP 3 IN ALL HIS EVENTS (1st- 25 free, 1st- 25 breast, 2nd- 25 fly, 3rd- 25 back)
- EMMA CANTER scored 70 points for the team, highest on girl's side
- MARK KISELEV score 73 points for the team, highest on boy's side
Biggest time drop for girl's side:
- ZOE GRAHAN (BRONZE): -20.62 sec in 100 free
- NIKKI COBURN (SILVER) -19.15 sec in 100 back
Biggest time drop for boy's side:
- JACOB ZION (SILVER): -14.06 sec in 100 IM
- CORTLAND ROBBINS (BRONZE): -13.40 sec in 100 free
COUPLE OF REMINDERS:
- Parents are prohibited from speaking to referees and admin. Please discuss issues with coaches first. We can be removed from the meet if further conflict occurs.
- Please check the meet entry forms for every meet. Make sure to decline any events if you are not able to go. There is $250 penalty fee for NO SHOWS
- Please communicate if you will be late or if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- LATE to meet = scratched out of meet (without prior communication)
